While there he came into touch with Maulvi Obeidulla Sindhi (a Pan-Islamist) and Zafiar Hassan (a Muhajir), and corresponded with Gurmukh Singh (G-54) and Wasdev Singh alias Ishar Singh (W-7), in Kabul, suggesting to the latter the seeding of students from America or India to Europe for Military training. In July 1932 he arrived in Berlin and joined Rattan Singh. In response to the desire of the party he is reported to have left Berlin for Moscow on or about the 30th September 1932 to receive training for at least a year.
