Shiv Singh, son of Lal Singh, Jat, of Kalowal, P. S. Dasuya, District
Hoshiarpur. He was a sepoy in the 25th Punjabis, and was discharged
from the regiment on return from Hong Kong, because of his seditious activities. He was challaned under Section 101 C. P. C. for taking part in
Risaldar Anup Singh’s agitation for the recognition ofthe services ofthe
Militaiy pensioners, and was bound down for a year in 1929. He attends
Akali meetings and associates with Bogh Singh (an ex-sepoy of the 25th
Punjabi Regiment from which he was discharged on account of seditious
tendencies) of village Pandher, district Hoshiarpur and Ganga Singh of
Bodal, who holds political views.
