Ram Singh, son of Sundar Singh, Village Dhanda Khurd, P. S. Mahilpur,
District Hoshiarpur. He absconded to Hong Kong and China in 1910
after taking part in a dacoity in the Jullundur district. For a long time, he
was travelling about China as a silk merchant and about the latter half of
1927 was reported to have been appointed as an agent of the Hindustan
Ghadr Dhandora Party in Hankow with the object of effecting
communications with disaffected Sikhs in Shanghai and other parts in
China. In July 1929 he was reported to have closed his silk shop in
Hankow and to have borrowed funds to open a shop in Nanking where he
was said to have associated with Ganda Singh (G-5), Sadhu Singh (S-22)
and Bishan Singh (an active member of the Indian seditionist party in
Hankow in 1927 and 1928), of village Kairon, district Amritsar. He is suspected of dealing in contraband. Is reported to be still working as a
silk merchant at Shanghai. While in India he associated with Dasaundha
Singh Mann of Dhada Kalan (D-16).
