Raja Singh, son of Maya Singh, of Kot Fatuhi, P. S. Mahilpur. District
Hoshiarpur. He went to America in 1907 and was reported by the
Canadian authorities to be a seditionist. On arrival in India by the S.S.
"Tosha Maru" about the end of 1914, he was interned in the Montgomery
Jail for three years. On release he was restricted to his village for two
years. In 1924 he accompanied the Shahidi Jatha of Anandpur, which went to Jaiton, and returned to his village in 1925. He has been taking part in
political diwans, etc. Died on 27th February 1934.
Description : Wheat complexion; height 5'-7"; age 45/50 years; stout
build; white beard with a tinge of black; knows a little Gurmukhi;
always wears a Kirpan.
