Pula Singh, son of Punjaba, Jat, of Bahowal, P. S. Mahilpur, District
Hoshiarpur. He went abroad about the year 1898 and is reported to have
served in the Peking Syndicate Mines, China for about 26/27 years. He
was very intimate with Partap Singh of village Durali Kalan, district
Jullundur (formerly connected with the Ghadr Party), and is said to be a
relation of Dalip Singh of Bahowal (formerly a seditionist). He returned
home in July 1927. He is a subscriber to the 'Desh Sewak" of Jullundur.
He does not take part in politics and left his village in shame as his son
has been lately convicted. Is illiterate.
Description : Fair complexion; age over 60 years; white beard; 'kes' on
head; tall stature.
