Pal Singh, son of Badhawa, Jat, Village Nangal Choran, P. S. Mahilpur,
District Hoshiarpur. He went to America about 1910, and before his
departure served for some time in the 35th Punjabis. He can read and
write Gurmukhi. Though there does not seem to be any previous record to
this man as an active Ghadr Party worker, at any rate he sympathised with
the Party and towards the middle of 1929 was appointed one of the
Directors of the American Hindustani Trading Co. (a Ghadr Party
concern formed to promote the economic side of the Party, and to serve
as a cloak for revolutionary activities). In 1929 he was reported to be a
subscriber to the Ghadr Party on behalf of the Kirti fund. Elected to the
local Committee of the Ghadr Party at Marysville in 1930 and again in
1932. Returned to India sailing from San Francisco on 16th December
1932. Owns landed property at the village jointly with his brothers.
