Pakhar Singh, alias Sham Singh, son of Bhan Singh, of Village Dhudeke,
P. S. Moga, District Ferozepore. He is a returned emigrant revolutionary.
He returned from Canada by the s. s. "Australian". He took part in the
activities of the revolutionary party in the Punjab, preached sedition and
abetted the Kapurthala raid as a result of which he was arrested and
interned. He was sent up for trial in the Supplementary Lahore
Conspiracy Case and sentenced to transportation for life. In May 1931 he
was released unconditionally by the Punjab Government and his
movements are being watched by the local police. He has been found to
be associating with Rur Singh of Chuhar Chak (R-41) otherwise there has
been no complaint against him since his release. He lives on cultivation.
