N-28. Nasib Singh, Doctor, son of Domak Singh, Village Balachur, District
Hoshiarpur. About 1926 he was a compounder in the hospital of the
Persian Vice-Consul in Zahidan, and later practiced as a doctor.
Subsequently he gave it up and became a motor driver and worked forthe
Russians in Persia. In 1931 he was reported to be a member ofthe Ghadr
Party in East Persia and was alleged to have been involved in a plot to
murder British officials there. About September 1931 he was living in
Teheran and was reported to be in close touch with Amrik Singh (A-24)
of Thanil Kamal, district Jhelum. Early in 1932 the question of his
deportation was taken up, and after having been kept in Teheran for a
year, he was repatriated to India.
