Narinjan Singh, son of Partap Singh, of Pandori, P. S. Mahilpur, District
Hoshiarpur. He was formerly employed in the 15th Sikhs and went to
Vancouver in 1906. He came back to India in 1914-15 and again returned
to America about 1921. He wrote several letters deploring the apathy of
villagers and asking about the "Sansar". In 1921 and 1924 he served as
the President of the Ghadr Party. Towards the end of 1924 he held the
office of the Treasurer of the Ghadr Party. In 1929 he was a regular
quarterly subscriber to the Ghadr Party on behalf ofthe Kirti fund, and in
September ofthat year was reported to be in charge ofthe Ghadr Ashram.
In 1930 and 1931 he was re-elected to the committee of the Ghadr Party
at Marysville. In 1931 he was one of the Directors of the American
Hindustani Trading Company. He took part in a meeting of the Ghadr
Party in Marysville on the 19th July 1931 and made a violent speech
criticising Congress and its supporters. Early in 1932 he was reported to
be an Executive Member ofthe Ghadr Party and reported to be active. He
has not returned to India so far. His son Gurdev Singh is in Canada.
