Munsha Singh, son of Miya, Goldsmith, Village Mallian Khurd, District
Jullundur. He went to America about 1905, and was illiterate when he
left his home and had no political views. He was in Vancouver in 1922.
In the course of a search of his house in that year seditious literature,
including copies of the "Ghadr," was found. About the end of 1928 he
was nominated to the Executive ofthe proposed branch of the Canadian
Indian National Congress. He was a member of the Hindu Young Men's
Association, and took part in its meetings, delivering speeches on several
occasions. He is engaged as a real estate agent in Vancouver.
