Muhammad Ali, son of Imam Din, Village Rasulpur, District Jullundur.
Left for Africa about July 1924. Stayed in Mombasa, Nairobi, and
Nakoro. Returned home in 1928 after an absence of 3’/z years, but again
went to London in November 1928, whence he is believed to have gone
to Panama. He attended several seditious meetings convened by Teja
Singh Sutantar (T-8), in Panama in 1931, and is reported to be one of the
Directors of the Hindi Supply Co., a commercial undertaking, formed by
Teja Singh and partially owned by members of the local Ghadr Party. In
March 1932 he was reported to be a member of the local General
Committee of the Ghadr Party and in June to be intending to return to
India, in the company of Fazal Din (F-3). In March 1932 he was reported
to be living at 139 Central Avenue, Panama City, himself renting the P. O.
Box NO. 1367 and owning and driving a bus. Is a friend of Sher
Muhammad alias Shera, son of Kasim Ali of Nangal Kalan (S-42). A
subscriber to the 'Kirti' and the 'Mazdoor Kisan'. Holds passport No. 9356
issued at Lahore on 19th July 1921, valid for Java and the British Empire.
It was endorsed for Brazil at Nairobi on 12th March 1928, for India at
Mombasa on 5th April 1928, and for Panama in London on 18th
September 1930. Is still in Panama.
