Muhammad Ali, son of Nathu, Arain, of Khotar, P. S. Banga, District Jullundur. He is educated and went abroad in 1906. Introduced Nawab Khan of village Halwara, district Ludhiana (formerly important member of the Ghadr Party in America), to the late Maulvi Barkat Ullah of Bhopal, and Bhagwan Singh Granthi of village Viring, district Amritsar (formerly leader of the Ghadr Party). Was appointed one of the agents to collect subscriptions at the Ghadr meeting held at Oxnard in August 1914. He was a provision seller and an important member of the party. Known to Charan Das as an active and regular Ghadr worker. Arrested in June 1916 and subsequently released. He interested himself in the activities of the United India League of America in 1923. Left San Francisco for India by S.S. "Taiyo Maru" on 3rd July 1929 via Shanghai and arrived at his village in September 1929. Is reported to be taking part in political meetings and processions. Attended the Political Conference at Lahore in 1929. He is at present in Lahore where he deals in furniture. Nothing objectionable has come to notice against him at Lahore. Is a man of political bent of mind. Owns landed property.
