Misri Khan, Sardar, Khetran of Barkhan, Baluchistan. Joined
rebellious Marris and Khetrans in 1918. Fled to Kabul and resided in
Kandahar. In August 1919 a large number of anti-British leaflets signed
by Misri Khan and Muhammad Aslam Khan (since dead) of Sokar, Dera
Ghazi Khan were received in Herat. Reported to have left Kabul with
Abdur Rab for Turkistan. Was with Aslam Khan in June 1920
Quarreled with Abdur Rab, July 1920. Resident in Shor Bazar, Kabul,
April 1924 and receiving an allowance of Rs. 3 per day from Afghan Government. Attended an anti-British meeting of Indians in Kabul in
September, 1926, and became a member ofthe Indian National Club. His
son Mahmud Khan applied to the British Legation at Kabul for the grant
of a certificate ofimmunity to enable Misri Khan to return to Baluchistan.
His request was granted but Misri Khan failed to apply for a visa. Misri
Khan attended a meeting of the Indian patriots in Kabul held on 1st
November 1930 in the house of Gurmukh Singh (G-54) to commemorate
the anniversary of the American Ghadr Party. Was also present at a secret
revolutionary meeting of Indians in Kabul on January 5th, 1932.
