Mehr Singh, son of Tara Singh, Village Mangowal, District Jhelum. He was originally a tailor at Zahidan, Persia, but subsequently became a motor driver. He was suspected to be working as a messenger between the Ghadr Party in Persia and their fellow-workers in India and Afghanistan. He and his family are said to hold Akali views but to be quiet at present.
