Madhu Ram, son of Kesho Chand, Barber, Village Jadla, P. S. Rahon,
District Jullundur. He went to San Francisco in 1913 and has not visited
his home since. His son named Amar Chand also went to the U. S. A. in
1925 and is now at the Nevada University having gone there from
Berkeley University. (He gave his address to the University as village
Banga Chak 105 G. B., Lyallpur). Madhu Ram has been a Ghadr Party
supporter since 1928. In February 1930 (and again in February 1932) he
was elected to the committee of the Ghadr Party in Marysville and in 1931 was appointed Secretary. He is one ofthe few Hindus to be trusted
by the Sikh Ghadr Party leaders. He owns a barber's shop and small store
in Marysville. He was arrested (but released after five days in jail) in
1932 for threatening one ofthe witnesses for the prosecution in the B. L.
Menrow Murder Case. His present address is: P. O. Box 813, Marysville,
