Lal Singh, son of Natha Singh, of Jandiala, P. S. Nurmahal, District
Jullundur. Was said to have been an active member of Dhiana's gang.
Arrested and interned in 1915. Was reported by an informant who
returned from America about 1916 to be a dangerous revolutionary.
Restricted to his village in February 1916. Restrictions removed after two
years. Took an active part in the Akali and Civil Disobedience
movements. Was convicted and sentenced to one week’s imprisonment for
picketing, on 25th May 1930. Is a man of political bent of mind and
associates with Chainchai Singh of Jandiala (C-3), Bhag Singh of Uppal
Bhupa (B-47), and Karam Singh of Chima (K-20). Owns landed property.
