Kirpal Singh, son of Narain Singh, of Chak No. 70, P. S. Thikriwala, District Lyallpur. Was a member of the Nau Jawan Bharat Sabha of Bengal, Kirti Dal, and also ofthe Communist Party ofAbdul Halim. Was one ofthose responsible for the amalgamation ofthe Punjab Nau Jawan Bharat Sabha and the Punjab Youth League. An associate of the extemees, Maha Singh of village Kamalpur, district Ludhiana (since dead) and Prem Singh (P-28). He is the proprietor of the Akai Book Depot, the repository of Gurmukhi nationalist and communist literature and magazines. His shop was searched on several occasions and objectionable literature and pictures were seized. He published the biographies of Bhagat Singh(murderer of a Police Officer in India) and Ram Kishen (R-16) both of which had been proscribed by the Bengal Government. Lives at 17.
