K-5. Kala Singh, son of Gulab Singh, Jat, of Bhure, P. S. Jhabbal, District Amritsar. He served in the Malay State Guides for 11 years and returned to India in 1906. Joined the Jhar Sahib meetings and took part in the conspiracy to raid Tehsil, etc. Was made an approver in the First Conspiracy Case. Is a pensioner of the British China Police and lives in the village Gurdwara as a Nihang Sikh, and holds political views. Associates with Akalis, talks a lot and is addicted to Bhang (A narcotic). Owns no property in the village.
