Jawala Singh, son of Ram Singh, Village Makul, District Jullundur. He
was employed as a labourer in Vancouver in 1922 and was then reported
to be a regular recipient ofthe "Ghadr". He was said to be an enthusiastic
supporter of Dr. N. S. Hardikar, when the latter visited British Columbia,
and for some time he maintained regular correspondence with him. He
did not come to notice again till 1930 when he was mentioned as one of
the small Ghadr Party contingent in Vancouver. He left Vancouver for
India on 3rd January 1931 and arrived at Calcutta on 18th February 1931.
