Jaswant Singh, son of Atma Singh, of Afzalabad, P. S. Mardan, North- West Frontier Province. His father died about 12 years ago and he went to Peshawar where he has since worked as a motor driver. He plies his lorry between Peshawar and Kabul and is acquainted with Akalis in Kabul. In August 1932 he was reported to be a messenger between the Kabul Ghadr Party and the Indian Ghadrites. He was also reported to have smuggled two pistols to India.
