Jamna Das, alias Charan Das, alias Ram Singh, son of Hari Ram, of
Aliabad, P. S. Bhilsar, District Bara Banki, United Provinces. He was a
servant of Rash Behari Bose (R-32), and assisted in the printing of
revolutionary literature in the Punjab and hired a house for the
headquarters in Lahore. He was convicted by the Lahore Tribunal and
sentenced to three years' R. I. He was one of the conspirators in the
Rawalpindi Jail Bomb Case, but was not sent for trial for want of
evidence. He was transferred to Lucknow jail, from where he was
released on the 9th May 1918. He was also connected with the Arrah
Temple Murder Case. After his release from the Lucknow jail he did not
return home in the Bara Banki district. Has not been traced since August
1928.
