J-7. Jagat Singh, son of Ganda Singh, Jat, Village Bhasin, P. S. Manawan,
District Lahore. He went to America about 1907, and first came to notice
as collecting funds for the members ofthe Ghadr Party, convicted in the
San Francisco trial in 1917. In 1922 he was in Stockton and was reported
to be a close adherent ofthe Ghadr Party. In 1929 he subscribed $125 to
the Ghadr Party's "Kirti" fund. In February 1930 he was said to have been
elected to the Committee of the Ghadr Party at El Fresno. He is still in
America. Owns landed property at his village.
