Ishar Singh, son of Mangoo, Chamar, Village Khera, P. S. Mahilpur, District Hoshiarpur. A member of the Ghadr Party who left San Francisco on 8th November 1929 by the S.S. "President Grant", with Bawa Singh alias Indar Singh Bawa of Birpind (B-41) on a visit to India, under instructions from the Ghadr Party, for the purpose of entering into close co-operation with the Sikh extremists of the Punjab with a view to reviving the Babbar Akali movement. Arrived at his home on 1st January 1930. Enquiries made by the local Police showed that the alleged mission did not materialize. Address while in America was P. O. Box 411, Broderick, California, U.
