Ishar Singh, son of Mangoo, Chamar, Village Khera, P. S. Mahilpur,
District Hoshiarpur. A member of the Ghadr Party who left San
Francisco on 8th November 1929 by the S.S. "President Grant", with
Bawa Singh alias Indar Singh Bawa of Birpind (B-41) on a visit to India,
under instructions from the Ghadr Party, for the purpose of entering into
close co-operation with the Sikh extremists of the Punjab with a view to
reviving the Babbar Akali movement. Arrived at his home on 1st January
1930. Enquiries made by the local Police showed that the alleged mission
