Ishar Singh, son of Buta Singh, Village Jandoli, P. S. Mahilpur, District
Hoshiarpur. He emigrated to America in 1907, and in 1928 was reported
to have been working with Dharm Singh of Jian, district Hoshiarpur
(since dead), and to have been attending the meetings of the Ghadr Part}'
and contributing to its funds. He accompanied Bawa Indar Singh, alias
B. S. Indar Singh of Birpind (B-41), on a visit to India, under instructions
from the Ghadr Party, for the purpose of entering into close co-operation
with the Sikh extremists of the Punjab with a view to reviving the Babbar
Akali movement. He sailed from San Francisco on 8th November 1929
and arrived at his home on 1st January 1930. Enquiries made by the local
Police showed that the alleged mission did not materialise. Address while
