Indar Singh, son of Chajju, Village Samrai, P. S. Nurmahal, District
Jullundur. He is usually known as H. Indar Singh, and has a store at
Walnut Grove, California, (P. O. Box 57, Walnut Grove). He is one of the
earlier Indian residents of California. For some years he has been a
member of the Ghadr Party; and in February 1930 he was elected to the
Stockton Committee of the Party. He was a close associate of Dharam
Singh of village Jian, district Hoshiarpur (since dead) and was credited
with being one of the latter’s assistants in the smuggling of Indians into
California. He is also suspected of being involved in the dope traffic. He
is believed to be a brother of Thakur Singh of Samrai (T-16). Went to
America about 22/24 years ago and has not returned so far. His present
address is P. O. Box No. 37, Thornton, California, U. S. A.
