Ijaib Singh, son of Kesar Singh, Jat, of Varpal, P. S. Jandiala, District
Amritsar. A reservist in the 28th Punjabis who returned to India from
Shanghai by the s. s. "Nam Sang". He was present at the Jhar Sahib
assemblies and was one of Gujar Singh's party at the Diwali in Amritsar.
He joined the 93rd Infantry and was arrested at Jubbulpore. He was sent
for trial in the Lahore Supplementary Case but was acquitted. He holds
Akali views and took part in the Guru-ka-bagh agitation but escaped
punishment. He is at present at the village and works as a farmer.
