Hazara Singh, son of Ram Singh, Jat, of Bilga, P. S. Nurmahal, District
Jullundur. A returned emigrant from Canada. He was abroad for six
years. He mixed with returned emigrants and was considered locally to be
suspicious, and was consequently restricted to his village. He was
released from restrictions in February 1918. His son Dalip Singh who had
also been to America returned about a year ago. Hazara Singh took part
in the Akali movement, and participated in every political meeting and
procession arranged in Bilga. He is at present in his village, and is
reported to be politically minded. Associates with Ujagar Singh (U-8) and
Gurdit Singh of Bilga (G-48) and Bhag Singh, Canadian (B-47).
Description : Age about 50/55 years; height about 5-6"; thin build;
sallow complexion; grey hair; loud voice.
