Harnam Singh, son of Narain Singh, of Gujarwal, P. S. Dehlon, District
Ludhiana. He returned to India by the S.S. "Komagata Maru" and took
part in the abortive attack on Ferozepore and on the Doraha Bridge
Guard. He was one of Gurdit Singh's (G-46) dupes. He was arrested and
sent for trial in the Supplementary Lahore Conspiracy Case. He was
convicted and sentenced to transportation for life and forfeiture of
property in March 1916. He was ordered to be released conditionally in
May 1930 subject to police surveillance for three years and restriction to
his village. He was again sentenced in a case under Section 326 I. P. C. in
1932 and is at present undergoing the term of imprisonment in jail. He
entertains Akali views.
