Hakim Singh, son of Bhagwan Singh, of Village Chonay, P. S.
Srigobindpur, District Gurdaspur. He was reported to belong to the
Ghadr Party in Sumatra and was said to be very wealthy and disloyal like
his brother Gurdit Singh. He paid a visit to India in July 1919 arriving at
Calcutta by the S.S. "Nam Sang" on 13th July 1919, and again in January
1929. He is reported to have gone again to China (Sumatra ?). Nothing is
known of his activities in his village.
Description : Age 60 years; wheat complexion; long face; thin build;
height 5’-8".
