Gurmukh Singh, son of Chattar Singh, of Mangwal, District Jhelum. He
was reported in September 1931 to be a member ofthe Kirti Party in East
Persia, and was alleged to have been involved in a plot to murder British
officials there. He arrived at his village in June 1932, and was stated to
have made an unsuccessful attempt to smuggle arms into India. He was
reported to have left for Persia again early in August 1932.
