Dharm Singh, son ofBasawa Singh, Village Birk, P. S. Phillaur, District
Jullundur. He is said to have gone to Panama about 14/15 years ago and
has not since visited his home.'He has a brother named Hukam Singh in
Panama. In May 1925 he was one of the subscribers in Panama to the
Panj Paisa Fund. In 1928 he received news from the Ghadr Party group in
Kabul regarding the expected arrival in America of Gurmukh Singh
(G-54) and Rattan Singh (R-36), the Ghadr Party leaders. He is reported
to have attended seditious meetings convened by Teja Singh Sutantar (T-
8) in Panama in 1931. In February 1932 he was reported to be working in
or owning a store at 137, Central Avenue, Panama City, and subsequently
was stated to be working at 143, Central Avenue, in the store of D. P.
Amar Singh & Co. He was reported to be one of the Presidents of the
Panama branch of the Ghadr Party and to have attended a meeting at
Dalip Sing's store in Panama City on 14th February 1932. He was said to
be learning bomb-making from Gajjan Singh alias Gaya Singh (G-2).
