Chanan Singh, son of Ram Singh, Jat, Village Chuga, District Ferozepore. Was a lambardar of his village. Went to America about 1912-14. He appears to have been in California in 1923. He was a subscriber to the Kirti in 1929. He is said to have been elected to the local committee of the Ghadr Party at Fresno on 26th February 1930. In the same year he was one of the Treasurers of the Ghadr Party. Has not returned to India so far and is reported to have bought land in America and settled there.
