Bujha Singh, son of Dit, Jat, V. Shanker, P. S. Nakodar, District
Jullundur. Went to America about 1907-08. In 1924 he was elected to
the Sikh Temple Stockton, California. He was suspected of helping Bawa
Singh, alias Hazara Singh, son of Maya Singh, of village Shanker, district
Jullundur, and was reported to have put up the bond for the latter when he
was arrested for deportation in 1927. In 1930 he was elected a member of
the Stockton Committee of the Ghadr Party and two years later he
collected subscriptions for the appeal of Bhagat Singh of Shanker (B-52),
the murderer of Babu Lal Menrow. His address at that time was P. O. Box
651, Marysville, California. He is now reported to be the owner or a P.O.
Box No. 72, Walnut Grove, California, and the foreman of a ranch near
Courtland where Bawa Singh, alias Hazara Singh, was arrested.
