Bishan Singh, Giani, V. Ujla, District Hoshiarpur. He is a nephew of Dalip Singh, of Nangal Kalan, Hoshiarpur (D-5), the notorious Ghadr leader. He went to Canada in 1930 and spoke rather violently at a meeting held in Vancouver on 27th December 1930. Early in 1932 he appears to have paid a short visit to California and promised the Ghadr Party to do some work for them on his return to Canada. About the middle of 1932 he was reported to be working as a representative of the Ghadr Party in British Columbia under cover of working in the Hindustani Young Men’s Association.
