Bir Singh, son of Ganesha Singh, Jat, of Village Thikriwala, P. S.
Kahnowan, District Gurdaspur. He returned to India from Shanghai in
1914. He belonged to the party of Sher Singh of the same village and was
found to be in possession of an automatic pistol and arrested. He was
sentenced to 21 years imprisonment under Sections 19 and 20 of the
Arms Act and Section 395 Indian Penal Code in the Conspiracy Case. He
was released conditionally in 1927 and since then he is under
surveillance. He has been mixing with persons of political views.
Description : Wheat complexion; long nose and face; thin build; a scar
mark on the left side on the right knee; cat-eyed; age 62 years.
