Bir Singh Bhandal, Village Kaneeh, P. S. Sahnewal, District Ludhiana. After passing the Matriculation Examination he emigrated to America about 1921. Where he joined the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated in 1930. Along with others he formed the "Sons of Bharat Society” in 1925 and the ’’National Party" in 1927. In October 1930 he sent an objectionable letter from P. O. Box 92, Berkeley, to his brother Amar Singh, a prosecution witness in the Khalsa College Amritsar Bomb Case.
