Bhagat Singh, son of Bal Singh, Jat, of Burchand, P. S. Bhikhiwind, District Lahore. Brother of Chanan Singh (hanged in the Lahore Conspiracy Case). He was one of the "Walla" bridge raiders and was incensed against Government by his brother’s execution. With Prem Singh of village Sursing, district Lahore (hanged in Suplementary Lahore Conspiracy Case), he planned the murder of Kapur Singh and was sentenced to transportation for life. He is still in jail. Has no landed property.
