Basant Singh, son of Khazan Singh, of Boparai, P. S. Nakodar, District
Jullundur. He was a book binder in the Government Press at Singapore,
and used to send copies of the "Ghadr" to India. He was dismissed from
his post and returned to India by the s.s. "Foosing". On arrival he was
interned, and his conduct in jail was reported to be bad. He was restricted to his village with security on 24th April 1918. He is at present living in
his village, and is reported to hold Akali views.
